  • Partisia Blockchain collaborates with Polygon.
  • This will allow Partisia to grant a privacy-first computation platform for Polygon.
  • Also, it provides a new smart contract for Polygon’s internet of blockchains.

Partisia Blockchain Foundation announced its partnership with Polygon. Partisia is an independent non-profit network that prompts the development of a zero-knowledge blockchain. This integration indicates that Partisia Blockchain will grant Polygon developers a new platform for privacy-first computations. Also, it will unlock a new type of smart contract for Polygon’s Internet of Blockchains.

Moreover, Partisia Blockchain brings another platform to the vast ecosystem of Polygon. This is by focusing on data privacy and confidentiality besides enabling decentralized multi-party zero-knowledge computations.

To note, most of the zero-knowledge platforms in the blockchain industry only permit two parties to compute a function and keep their inputs private.

The developers on Polygon will be able to run private computation transactions on the Partisisa Blockchain and use their custom private computation smart contracts. This will be possible by linking the transactions and smart contracts with their existing decentralized apps (dApps) on Polygon via a dedicated bridge.

Moreso, with the collaboration, Partisia will support Polygon-native tokens and ERC-20 coins, including their utility for paying node fees to run the private computations.

Brian Gallagher, the co-founder of Partisia Blockchain, remarked that privacy is a key Web3 pillar that must lay at the foundation of the internet’s future.

He added:

We are thrilled to be bringing a confidentiality layer into the Polygon ecosystem, giving the developers in the community a powerful platform to conduct private computations of any complexity. In the long run, this integration will enable a whole new generation of secure and privacy-minded Web3 services.

Polygon Enterprise Lead Antoni Martin also said that this partnership unfolds several new and exciting possibilities for all Polygon developers. It provides developers with additional tools to fine-tune the privacy and security of their projects.

“Partisia’s MPC and ZK-based smart contracts platform adds an additional layer of confidentiality and private computations to Polygon that will be invaluable for any Web3-focused team,” he added.
